As a web developer I am always testing everything I build in as many browsers as I can in order to reach as many people as I can while keeping the design and functionality of my site intact. So when Google launch their browser I wasn’t really that thrilled to be honest. I was and still am more of a Firefox user then any other browser. I will say that with each release of Chrome I want to give it a shot. And when reading about a 30% increase in speed while browsing I have to wonder if I should try using it instead of just testing to make sure my sites work in it.

Still on the fence but for those interested, a new beta release dropped on the 5th and you can read about it here>>.

Google may have made some noise when they released the Google Chrome OS but in the background they were and have been working on a remote X protocal that they quietly released on July 7th called NeatX. Check out the full scoop here>>.
