googleChrome

As a web developer I am always testing everything I build in as many browsers as I can in order to reach as many people as I can while keeping the design and functionality of my site intact. So when Google launch their browser I wasn’t really that thrilled to be honest. I was and still am more of a Firefox user then any other browser. I will say that with each release of Chrome I want to give it a shot. And when reading about a 30% increase in speed while browsing I have to wonder if I should try using it instead of just testing to make sure my sites work in it.

Still on the fence but for those interested, a new beta release dropped on the 5th and you can read about it here>>.

thrillgottengainsI just recently finished work on a new site for a friend of mine. Scott thrILL! over at http://www.thrillgottengains.com. He’s been working on a sound track to the Body Bags comic book so head on over to his site and check it out. Also wanna thank Andy Stewart for helping work out a design.

I can remember when suckerfish had posted the CSS dropdown nav. I can remember using javascript and tables to make my first dropdown nav. I thought if we could only get CSS working in all broswers this would be perfect. I eventually started using an variation with a javascript workaround for IE6.
