I’m always on the lookout for an open source alternative for pretty much everything. After being involved in the Open Source community since 94 I have the upmost respect for those that develop the software that as web developers use everyday. I also love the fact that I can give back to the community and I strive to do so when I can. That being said, I stumbled accros a great screen cast that shows off Magento e-commerce. I hadn’t tried Magento yet but after reading up on it and watching this I think I’ll give it a run through.
